These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Slopscan (the “Service”), operated by Slopscan (“Slopscan,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What Slopscan is
Slopscan is a design QA tool. You give it a public website URL or a project ZIP file, and it returns numbered findings on a preview of the design plus one implementation prompt built from the findings you choose to keep. Slopscan does not ingest Figma files, does not modify or rewrite your site, and does not currently scan sources that require login (private staging environments, GitHub repositories, and similar). We may add or remove features over time.
Findings are produced by a combination of automated pattern detection and AI-based judgment (including large language models and structured decision models). They are opinions about design quality, not a certification, a guarantee of accessibility compliance, or professional design, legal, or engineering advice. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to act on any finding or generated prompt.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service — either as an adult individual or as an authorized representative of a business. You may create an account with an email and password, via Google sign-in, or via a one-time magic link sent to your email. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us immediately at hello@slopscan.app if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. What you submit
You may only submit a URL or a project ZIP that you own or that you are authorized to have audited. Do not submit a third party’s private, confidential, or copyrighted site or code without their permission. Only publicly reachable URLs are accepted — we do not process login-walled or local/private addresses.
You retain all ownership rights in whatever you submit. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to process it — including rendering it, capturing screenshots, extracting design and code signals, and running it through the analysis methods described in our Privacy Policy — solely to generate your audit and operate the Service. We do not use your submissions to train our own underlying AI models, and any third-party AI providers we use to process your submissions are contractually restricted from using that content to train their models, consistent with their standard API terms.
4. Plans, fees, and billing
Slopscan is offered on the following plans, subject to change with notice: a Pro plan at $7/month (20 audits/month) and an Agency plan at $40/month (100 audits/month). Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record; your payment details are handled by Dodo, not stored by us. Prices may change; we will give you reasonable notice before a change affects your renewal.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our separate Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to audit a site or codebase you do not own or have permission to audit
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits, quotas, or plan restrictions
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our detection rules, skill definitions, or underlying models
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to submit content that is malicious, infringing, or that violates a third party’s rights
- Interfere with or overburden our infrastructure, including automated bulk submissions designed to circumvent rate limits
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including our detection rules, skill definitions, software, and branding, is our property or licensed to us. Your audit reports and the implementation prompts generated for you are yours to use for your own projects. This does not transfer ownership of the underlying tool, methodology, or any third-party content that may appear in a report (for example, if you audit a site you don’t own).

THE SERVICE AND ALL FINDINGS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI-GENERATED FINDINGS MAY BE INCOMPLETE, INCORRECT, OR CONTEXT-INSENSITIVE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT IMPLEMENTING ANY SUGGESTION WILL IMPROVE YOUR PRODUCT, CONVERSION RATE, OR ANY OUTCOME.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLOPSCAN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising from your submissions (including a claim that you lacked authorization to audit a given URL or codebase), your violation of these Terms, or your violation of a third party’s rights.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time through Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law.
11. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers to operate, including AI processing providers, our payment processor (Dodo Payments), and a product analytics provider. Details of what each provider receives are described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers’ own terms where applicable.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections in your country of residence still apply, including any right to bring a claim in your local courts.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
